The Super Bowl is huge and glitzy. Synovus Bank is exactly zero of these things. So we used real customers taking on Super Bowl clichés like Clydesdales and big car chases, done in a down to earth, very Southern way.
Synovus is the bank of here. To prove it, we created ads that show real Synovus bankers reading the same local business journal you’re reading. The copy talks about things only locals would know.
Synovus is constantly amazing us by quietly, humbly living their tagline of The Bank of Here. One example - we shot footage at a non-profit boxing gym for kids for a commercial. And then they paid to re-edit the footage as a pro-bono spot for the gym. Even though the gym isn't a customer. And even though their name or logo appears nowhere in the spot. They just really care about the communities they serve. Kind of remarkable.
